Unfortunately I was not able to buy too many things while in San Francisco...which was extremely difficult considering the overwhelming abundance of incredible vintage and thrift stores, but nonetheless I managed to buy a few unique items. Let me start off with explaining the way I like to shop while on vacation: basically I like to buy things that are quintessential to the city that I am traveling in. In other words I like to buy things that I will not be able to find back home. In this case I bought items that are very San Francisco (an easy going, environmentally friendly, naturally beautiful, hippie town) therefore I only bought things that are recycled, vintage, and eco-friendly. There were a pair of amazing eco-friendly dark jeans that I bought at Anthropologie that I do not have a picture of because they are not necessarily "picturesque" I suppose...but I will take a picture of me in them! Otherwise I bought a recycled saddle bag and vintage Levi's cut-off jean shorts from a really cool boutique called After Life (988 Valencia Street, SF, CA;
www.afterlifeboutique.com). I absolutely love the bag, it's so unique! The body is from an old military coat, the material on the flap is from an old Native American blanket, and the leather straps are from real saddles. I also could not resist buying two beautiful cups from Anthropologie...in all honesty I wanted every home product in that store but didn't have enough room in my luggage (so sad!).
Hope you're all having a great week!
