New Music...Old Style

Again....excuse me for my blogging absence, I've basically had the week from hell with going back to school, working, AND doing my applications for my Masters (I'm applying to Parsons and Central St. Martins) and it's beyond stressful. Tomorrow is my only day off so I plan on blogging properly....but for now here is Lykke Li's new single that my friend just sent me! I think it's obvious at this point the love I have for Lykke Li since I've posted practically every song she's ever made.

I have no pictures of what I was wearing today, but I watched An Education last night again and I'm going through a MAJOR obsession with the 1960's English look...I sported a Topshop duffle coat, leggings, really thick black liquid eyeliner, and had my hair long and wavy. New Purchases: Week in January

Bought some amazing things this week!

FINALLY bought Touche Eclat by YSL and it was worth every penny!
Also bought myself the perfect deep wine red nail polish by Chanel called Rouge Fatal

Got a really cute bow to put in my hair when it's half up from American Apparel! Reminds me of my friend in Lebanon who I miss so so so much (she wears bows almost every day).

A body conscious H&M dress....yes simple but the color is so amazing...it's like a clay color...a mix of brown and red. Amazing!

Finally, the new love in my life: a hand knit wool men's sweater from Club Monaco...yes a men's sweater...had to get an extra small for it to fit me.

Bringing in 2011

Hi everyone! Excuse me for my blogging absence, I've had a hectic week of working and partying celebrating the end of an amazing year and bringing in a start of a whole new one! I don't have any outfits to share just yet unfortunately, but soon I promise! For now I'm just getting myself prepared for my last semester of school (crazy!!) which starts tomorrow. I've got my Moleskine and Kate Spade notebooks ready to be used and my new and amazing black Lamy fountain pen with purple ink, so now it's time to get into the mindset of studying my but off.

What are my goals and wishes for 2011?
- Get my butt into shape...starting tomorrow I'm joining spinning classes with a few friends
- Travel to Italy for 1-2 months
- Move to a new city...sounds ambitious, but I'm graduating this semester and even though I love Montreal it's time to start a new chapter in my life. Thinking of either New York City or London or Paris
-Volunteer
- Say 'yes' to as many opportunities that come my way as possible...living life to the fullest!!
