New In!

I came back home to a lovely surprise! My parents bought me the beautiful crystal lamps I've been wanting for my room for quite some time. I'm completely obsessed with them, they add so much to my room and they also go so well with the wallpaper!

I also bought Steven by Steve Madden Madee Black Suede shoes that I'm in love with, they're going to definitely be my staple shoe come this fall.

I also had a minor obsession with Kate Spade earrings this summer...I bought three pairs of earrings. The prices aren't too bad except for the big jewel clip-ons in the middle, but they're so worth it! Great for going out :)

I've bought a million other things while in New York and Miami this summer and I definitely will be sharing the rest soon!

Also, I feel like I should update you all on my crazy life. I'm no longer in New York City...I had to suddenly leave for a little while. I've been in Miami for a few weeks and now just arrived back home to Montreal until I get some things together so that I can move back to New York City hopefully in the near future because I loveee that city! Miami is incredible, I'll share some pictures soon!

Bookmarc NYC

I have completely fallen in love with Marc Jacobs new concept store on Bleeker and 11th Avenue called Bookmarc. It is a high end bookstore that carries novels, anthologies, coffee table books, and DVD's of every genre from fashion to classic literature, from surfing to Hollywood, from nudity to music. The editing in this store is absolutely phenomenal, I was in there with my friend for at least an hour and left with a few interesting reads on art, Paris, and Kerouac....oh also I bought Manhattan by Woody Allen (how fitting). This place is my dream store because it brings everything I love together....fashion, literature, art, and books. All it's missing is a connecting Marc Jacobs cafe, but all in all I found my new favourite place in NYC.

A Little Glimpse of New York

Hi all! I've been incredibly busy here in New York City, I'm having quite an adventure! I got a job as a hostess at a concert venue in SoHo, I have friends who are constantly coming in and out of the city, and I've been going down to the Jersey Shore/Pennsylvania/Hamptons every second I can to see family and friends. Trust me, the Jersey Shore I'm talking about is NOT the Jersey Shore you're probably thinking of (the show). I'm however talking about clean, beautiful beaches with normal looking people and amazing food aka Surf Taco.

Also....I need to share something VERY exciting with you. Around two weeks ago I was walking on a small street off of Broadway downtown near where I live when I see this handsome man walking towards me in the opposite direction. I glance up at him look down and then quickly look back up realizing it's Daniel Craig aka James Bond!!!! It was just me and him on the street and he looked at me realizing I was in shock and then slowed down, winked and smiled at me!!! My heart melted....

I thought I would share some pictures of my time here in the USA :). I'm also going to do another post of some small things I'm loving here in New York City....whether that be areas of NYC, food, fashion, activities, bars, etc.
